Contract Opportunities

First 5 Monterey County strives to meet both the short- and long-term needs of our community. Sponsorship funding is available to help reach broad audiences throughout Monterey County while our multi-year grants bring needed programs and services to families with young children who are most in need. We also work with contractors when there are specific or specialized skills needed to implement our strategic plan. Funding supports our vision that All children reach their full potential in a family and community that values and respects childhood.

First 5 Monterey County works with contractors to help us plan and implement specific projects requiring specialize knowledge or skills. The following opportunities are available for individuals and agencies. Please take special note of deadlines and application requirements.

RFQ - Graphic Design Services

First 5 Monterey County (F5MC) is requesting qualifications from graphic designers or design firms with the purpose of producing a variety of graphic art and communications materials. The selected applicant(s) will be responsible for graphic design and layout of communication materials while ensuring the development of graphic elements are consistent with the look and feel of F5MC.

RFQ - Photography and Videography Services

First 5 Monterey County (F5MC) is seeking, through a proposal process, to identify a pool professional photographers and videographers, individuals, or organizations, who can be called upon to complete photographic and video projects to help illustrate, document, and personalize F5MC's mission and bring greater awareness to the communities throughout the county about the importance of early learning.

RFQ - Consultant Pool for Grant Writing and Fund Development

First 5 Monterey County (F5MC) is developing a pool of qualified candidates to provide contractual support for grant writing and fund development.

The overall areas of support being sought are:
A. Grant Writing and Research Support
B. General Fund Development Support

Submissions will be accepted on an on-going basis through June 30, 2024. Once accepted, members of the Pool will be solicited for a specific contract as needed, based on areas of expertise of the Consultant and needs of F5MC. Acceptance into the Pool is not a guarantee of a contract. Selected Consultants may be required to participate in an interview and to submit additional information in order to complete the contracting process.
